The Queen Mary

The city of Long Beach is ideally located between Los Angeles and Orange County and either location is only about a 30-minute drive from the house. So if you are here to enjoy Hollywood, Disneyland and the beach cities of Orange County, congratulations on finding the perfect spot for your home base in Southern California!

About Our Neighborhood

The Bungalow in Long Beach is located a block from the Historical District on a street lined with other homes built in the 1920s.  It is only ten blocks (about a mile, a five-minute bike ride or a twenty-minute walk) from the bluffs and the Pacific Ocean. As a guest, you will be well situated to visit The Queen Mary and the Aquarium of the Pacific, take the ferry to Catalina Island or go whale watching, and enjoy art or a relaxing brunch at the Long Beach Art Museum.  The Bungalow is also close to several coffee houses, restaurants, groceries as well as other types of shopping.  Several major freeways such as the 710, the 405, the 605, and the 22 are all just minutes away. We’re only 10 minutes away from the Long Beach Convention Center.

There are several grocery options within a 3-mile radius of the house such as Ralph’s, Vons, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Gelson’s, and Lazy Acres.

Our neighborhood is considered "Very Walkable" on Walk Score

The city as a whole ranks as one of the most walkable in the nation, according to LAist.
